The Manu National Park is a gem of Peru. It is a protected area and is one of the jewels in Peru. Starting from the Puna grasslands at 13.123 ft, it goes down to the Amazonian plain which is 984 feet. It passes through the Montane Forest, Dwarf Forest and Football Forest.
It amasses more than 20,000 plant species, more than 4000 animal species.

The Manu National Park is not very easy to get in. The dense canopy of trees will give you a perfect jungle adventure. You will need to take on a long yet scary drive from Cusco. Later, it is followed by a long boat ride to the Park.

The Reserved Zone of the park is better in terms of wildlife. Therefore, if you travel through the park, you can pay some bucks and witness the rich wildlife in this reserved zone of the jungle.
You will also see more variety of birds than animals. Animals will be camouflaged most of the time because of thick dense jungle. From your cabins, you can see hummingbirds, caimans, monkeys and many rare species as well. Sometimes, you will see howler monkeys on tall trees. Along the river side, you can see the (Otorongo) Jaguars.
The Manu National park gives you a decent site about seeing wildlife. You will see many wildlife species like Giant river otters, caimans, red and blue macaws, monkeys, jaguars and hundreds of birds.
Amazing symbiosis existed between plants, insects, animals and birds.
The local trekkers of Peru are very knowledgeable. You will find well-educated guides who are experienced as well. The accommodation is very clean with all the basic comfort amidst this dense jungle.
There are several options for intriguing bird sightseeing. Some of them are king vulture, Quetzal, hummingbirds, cock of the rock, managers, etc. The best part is Macaw Clay Lick, Tambo Blanquillo along with parrots, parakeets, red-green macaws, etc and much more.
The Manu reserved Zone is a wildlife hotspot. It is completely worth going there and experiencing the rich wildlife and the realism of thick canopy. These are inquisitively amazing.
